About a week ago, I came down with a wicked migraine. We're talking brain impalement status migraine.

Was okay with it at first, but then I developed one of the blind spots I'm oh-so-fond of.

I figured it would go away on it's own...well..it's been a week..still have the blind spot..went to the hospital about 3 days ago and they said that the arteriovenous malformation is just acting up again, they said there might be some clotting that could be "helping" the situation a bit, but it doesn't feel lik it's helping.

But yes, Still have a blindspot..or, rather, a spot in my vision field that causes shapes to be distorted (I swear I saw my thumb shrink and grow while trying to look at it to see if the distortion theory was a worthwhile guess, turns out it was). And it's location isn't exactly helping. it's located in an area of my vision field that allows me to focus on words and whatnot, so reading things is becoming a pain. I have yet to try and draw anything but I am worried that it will adversely affect my ability to draw.

If so, What am I going to do? It's hard enought o see and focus this way without losing the one ability I'm prficient at...

So...I coudl go through with a surgery they say wouldn't do much good either way and could cause me to go blind in one eye, or let it play through it's course and probablyw ind up going blind anyway.....

So much for Karma helping the good guys in times of need.. Fuckin' Karma...I hate thee!!!

I'm also thinking of giving up cigarettes again.

ANyway, I got prescription meds for the migraines..they seem to be working about half-assed so far because I can still feel the pain somewhat.
